Oakley School’s First Headteacher – Sarah Kaye

The Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust are pleased to announce the appointment of Oakley School’s new Headteacher. Sarah is currently joint Headteacher of Southam College having risen through the ranks of the school to be a key member of the leadership team. Sarah has played a pivotal role in the two outstanding Ofsted outcomes and the on-going success of the school. CEO Ranjit Samra commented “There has been a huge amount of interest in this role from across this country and Europe. Sarah’s passion, knowledge and commitment to the local area shone through in the rigorous and robust interview process. We have made an excellent appointment in Sarah as our new Headteacher of Oakley School”.

Sarah Kaye: “I am thrilled to be appointed as Oakley School’s first ever Headteacher. I believe that all children and young people should go to a school where brilliant staff support them through excellent teaching and pastoral care to be the best they can be. As a local parent of four young children, I understand the important role that the school plays in the lives of children and their families and I am excited to work with our families to develop this brand-new school into a truly wonderful place to be. Oakley School will serve its community for many years to come and in the role of Headteacher I look forward to working with the local community to ensure that it a school they can be proud to call their own.

Oakley School is a brand new all through school that will sit on the outskirts of South Leamington. We will provide an outstanding education for children from ages 4 to 16 with the potential to introduce a sixth form at a later stage. The cutting-edge facilities will create an inspiring environment for our pupils to learn and develop in. Oakley School will have fantastic outdoor and sporting facilities which will also be available for community use. In its first year, our Year 7 pupils will be based at a brand-new teaching block at nearby Myton School before moving to Oakley School in September 2024 with an additional Year 7 cohort and our first cohort of Reception children.”
